My name is Joyce Hong. I like using 3D materials and mix with oil paints. Just oil painting alone seems a little plain to me, so I started adding 3D materials for example fabrics to add more texture to the canvas I was born into an artist family and we moved to the United States from China when I was in 5th grade. My grandpa was a traditional Chinese painting artist and I was exposed to art ever since I was very little. We now live in Irvine and I have a Corgi named Winter and a hamster named Cloudy. My purpose in art basically.
I came to OCSA because ever since I realized that I’m more attached to art than any other type of classes, I started looking for a school dedicated to art, where I can express my imagination and creativity freely.
Yes, probably an art college or maybe an independent artist
