Oil paint is one of my favorite mediums from now on. This year was my first time using oil painting in my VA oil class, and I had so much fun because it gives you the flexibility to start an artwork and then come back to it the next day and continue straight where you left off, which was less stressful. I also had so much fun mixing colors with a limited color palette to make multiple colors. Since I'm a person who enjoys using various colors to create a piece, it was enjoyable when we were doing a quick study, which allowed me to do anything in a short amount of time.
My family and I lived in South Korea, then we moved to America about six years ago. English wasn't my first language, so communication was the obstacle I had to encounter. However, support and advice from many people have enabled me to grow into the person I am today. English is still challenging, but it is much better than before. As an artist, I have not stopped loving art since my childhood. My parents' native tongue may be Korean, but mine is Art.
As I grew up, drawing was not just a hobby but the path for my future. I took my hidden talent more seriously because I and so I decided to go to an art school called OCSA. I also did it because drawing is the greatest happiness for me.
