My name is Katherine Rice. My favorite medium right now is oil pastels, because you have to dive in to use them. There are no meticulous details or precise planning, just start laying things out on the page! I live with my mom and dad in Huntington Beach. I have a Terrier named Lucy and a tuxedo cat named Sophie.
I came to OCSA because I knew that OCSA had so many people like me, and my local high school did not. The art programs that I am apart of now are unparalleled compared to Huntington Beach high school.
I want to be an architect, preferably organic architect, so I can take creative license in my work. I know that my art background will definitely help me in this field.
