My name is Carla Forno. My favorite medium currently is digital art. I enjoy having compete freedom to experiment and make mistakes without consequences. I have found that I have improved so much because of digital, especially developing my own personal style and expanding my possibilities in the art industry. Digital has offered me the ability to produce products of my own and create logos for brands. I have lived in California my whole life with my mom, dad, sister, and two dogs. I am Chilean and Peruvian. My mother immigrated from Chile to Venezuela then to the United States. She is my biggest supporter and inspiration. During quarantine I moved to Irvine with my mom and dog Charlie. Before I moved, I lived in a city called Corona, an hour away from Santa Ana and took the train from there to school every day.
I came to OCSA because back in elementary school I found a passion for visual arts. I attended an arts high school in Riverside called “Encore”. After middle school I decided Encore wasn’t for me and I applied for OCSA and got in. I was so excited to be a part of this creative environment.
I would love to pursue a career in graphic design, product design, or business.
