My name is Anika Kothari. This year my favorite medium is oil painting. It is my favorite right now because I have been able to experiment with it the most during distanced learning. I live in Fullerton and I have two older sisters. My oldest sister attends Lewis and Clark College as an art history major, and my middle sister attends UC Berkley as a political economy major. I have two dogs named Nigel and Ruby.
I chose OCSA over my local school because I wanted to be surrounded by other creative people. My oldest sister was also in the Visual Arts conservatory so she motivated me to pursue art in middle/high school.
I don't think I am going to pursue art in college or as a career but I will probably continue to do art for fun.
