My name is Alisha Lin. My favorite medium this year is 3D art because I've always loved crafting and hands-on projects. When I was younger, I'd build scaled models of towers out of Legos or cardboard. This eventually evolved into my current affinity for creating 3D models, sculptural pieces, and jewelry. My family and I live in Lake Forest with a pet betta fish named Fishy (he's a one-year-old blue and yellow Mustard Gas betta fish).
I came to OCSA because I wanted to explore as many artistic mediums as I could; I was mostly drawn to photography, metal arts, ceramics, and 3D arts in general. Moreover, I wanted to challenge myself academically.
Yes! After taking several architecture/interior design courses over the summer and during the school year, I decided to pursue Architectural Drafting and Design. To me, it's the perfect blend of STEM and the arts.
